Change Light Bulbs

When a bulb burns out, it should be replaced promptly to maintain visibility and functionality in the space. Before changing a bulb, always turn off the power from the switch—or the breaker for added safety—especially when dealing with high wattage or ceiling fixtures. Allow the old bulb to cool before handling it, and use a sturdy step stool or ladder if needed. Make sure to choose the correct type and wattage of the new bulb based on the fixture’s specifications, whether it’s an incandescent, LED, or compact fluorescent (CFL). Proper installation involves gently screwing the new bulb in place until it’s secure but not overly tight.
